T- Alert - keeping you in the know about your pensions at all times.

At Stanbic IBTC Pensions, we keep you up to date on every transaction on your account. Once you sign up for an RSA with us, you will automatically receive free transaction alerts via SMS and email on every contribution credited into your RSA/VC.

Every quarter end, T-Alert also sends you your account statement via email, and your account balance via SMS.

Retirement Made Easy

We aim to make retirement easy for you, so we will send you alerts everytime deposits are made into the bank account of your choice.

If you are a customer and have never received T-ALERTS from us, it could be because of the following reasons:

  • You may need to update your records to include your current email address or GSM telephone number.
    You can do this by logging on to your account or emailing us at pensionsolution@stanbicibtc.com.
  • Perhaps contributions have not been credited into your account for some time. To view all your contributions you may log in to your secure account online.

Accessing Your Account Balance via the Internet

The Stanbic IBTC Retirement Savings Account (“IBTC RSA”) is a user-friendly on-line real-time account accessible to clients on a secure Internet platform.

From the comfort of your office, home or any other location in the world and with the aid of an internet-enabled personal computer, you can securely access your Stanbic IBTC RSA.

  1. Log unto our website: www.stanbicIBTCpension.com.

  2. Enter your RSA PIN e.g PEN200001111223 in the box provided at the top right side of any of the pages (Your RSA PIN Here).

  3. Click on the Go button or press the Enter key on your key board to log in.

  4. This action takes you to our secure server where your RSA PIN is verified.

  5. Click on Enter our Secure Server.

  6. Now enter your Username and Passcode and Log in.

  7. You can now view your RSA Balance.

  8. Please remember to change passcode (if that is your first time) and keep it secure.

Accessing Your Account Balance via the Telephone

  1. Dial 01-2716000, 7450000 or 0802-PENSION, 0804-PENSION, 0805-PENSION, 0806-PENSION e.g (0806 7367466)

  2. Please listen and follow the instruction of the Voice prompt.

  3. Press 1 for Telephone Pensions.

  4. Listen to the next Voice prompt.

  5. Now enter your RSA PIN number e.g PEN100020000 using the alphabets on the phone keys.

  6. Next enter your Pass Code e.g 654321.

  7. Follow the next voice prompt and listen to your Balance.


Accessing Your Account Balance via SMS

  1. You may check your RSA balance and contribution details, by sending a text message to 0802 291 1000, using the following formats, depending on your request.

  2. RSA Balance: RSAPIN#PASSCODE#BAL
    Monthly Contributions: RSAPIN#PASSCODE#CONT
    Help: RSAPIN#PASSCODE#HELP

  3. For example to check your balance with your PIN, PEN200111111223, and Passcode: 654321, send the following text message: PEN200001111223#654321#BAL to 0802 291 1000
